Pausing by the door, Jack bends to take off his sneakers before padding
through the apartment in his sock feet and starting to rummage through the
fridge and the cupboards, trying to figure out what's for dinner.
It'll be the third meal today that they've eaten together. Which is a kind
of a nice feeling.
