It's not quite daylight when he lets himself into Poison's apartment. He'd showered at the hotel, but he's still wearing last night's clothes, black t-shirt, jeans, boots. He drops his wallet and his keys on the counter and pads into the bathroom, brushing his teeth before he slips into the bedroom. Poison's there and Jack finds himself relieved, even though he doesn't know what he was expecting.

The bed gives slightly when he sits down to take off his boots.

Poison comes, the space between their bodies going slick and hot and Jack moans loudly, his face pressed into Poison's shoulder.

"M'close, baby. M'really...shit. I'm nearly there."

"Wanna feel you come, Jack. Please, please." He lets go of Jack's clothes and wraps his arms around him, hugging him close.

He's so close. He wants it to badly. He thrusts again and then he's tumbling over the edge.

"Oh, God, I love you. I love you so much."

"I love you," he breathes, moaning a little as Jack comes. Poison can feel it, and it's all at once intensely comforting and startling. He clings to Jack, riding it out with him until neither of them can move anymore.

When he's spent, Jack all but collapses against Poison, pressing himself close. He wants to stay inside him for as long as he can.

Poison lays there, trying to catch his breath. His arms slowly relax but he doesn't let Jack go, not wanting him to pull away yet.

Jsck turns his head, kissing the side of Poison's neck, staying close to him.

"I love you so much."

Poison holds him close, sniffling a bit. "Love you," he murmurs. "Love you so much, Jack."

Eventually, he has to pull out, and he slips to the side, pressing in close with his clothes still pushed out of the way. "Baby," he says, brushing at Poison's tears with the tips of his fingers. "Baby, please don't cry."

He turns towards Jack, hiding against his chest. "'m not," he tries, even if it's pretty much a lie. He takes a sharp breath and lets it go slowly. "I'm okay."

Jack cradles his head in his hand, the other arm thrown around his shoulders, holding him close.

"I got you," he says.

"Don't ever surprise me like that again," he mumbles. He can handle other surprises. Little ones. He tucks close against Jack, wanting to disappear against him. Poison suddenly feels exhausted.

"God. I promise." He combs his fingers through Poison's hair slowly, pressing kisses against his hairline.

"Can we sleep? Scrap breakfast and try again later?" He just wants to be here, he wants to be with Jack and to sleep now that he feels like he can.

Jack nods, keeping a tight hold on him. Gently, he pulls back.

"Just let me take my jeans off, baby."

Poison nods and waits for Jack to do what he needs to. He moves, finding his pajama bottoms to pull them back on. When Jack comes back to bed, he scoots close to cuddle up against him.

Jack slips out of his tshirt too but leaves his underwear on. He slips back into the bed, wrapping his arms around Poison and pulls him in close.
